Heathfield Vets open day was held on February 14th, it was a great success and was lovely to see so many people come and explore our practice
The latest Heathfield Vets open afternoon was held on Valentines Day, so it seemed appropriate that there were heart shaped cup cakes (amongst the other home made goodies) and a presentation on cardiac problems in dogs and cats.
Crowds turned up for a behind the scenes tour of the practice with demonstrations of the wide range of equipment and procedures available, including keyhole surgery and ultrasound scanning.

The afternoon began with a guest of honour Mrs Smith and her dog Drummer officially opening a new consult room. Mrs Smith had kindly made a donation to Heathfield Vets in appreciation of Drummer’s successful treatment and the sum was spilt between Hounds for Heroes and equipping the new consult room.
The younger children enjoyed games, competitions and (temporary) tattoos.
Congratulations to Simon who correctly guessed the name of our handsome shar pei cuddly toy! His name is Gary, here is a photo of Simon and his brother Matthew with their prize.
We would like to thank everyone who came along to see what Heathfield Vets is all about and what we have to offer.
