EQUINE SERVICES - Dónal O’Leary MVB Cert SCVA MRCVS, is our equine vet, dedicated to providing many services including the following:

Routine care, advice and planning

Worming advice and worming programmes

Dental services – rasping and extractions where required

Equine Vettings – for insurance and purchasing purposes

Acupuncture

Export

Pregnancy diagnosis

Mobile X-ray and Ultrasound

Dónal has been with the practice since 2004, building the equine side of the practice with the support of the other veterinary surgeons

where required. Catherine Darragh BVet Med MRCVS has recently joined us, and having a special interest in equine medicine, she will

provide invaluable back up to the department.

FARM SERVICES – Philip Snyman BVSc MRCVS is our large animal vet dedicated to providing the following services:

Routine care, advice and planning

Herd Health care plans

Blood testing for health schemes such as CAE, DHHP

Pregnancy diagnosis and fertility schemes

Ultrasound and mobile x-ray

Local Veterinary Inspector – private and DEFRA herd testing

Philip joined the practice in 2004, taking over as our large animal vet in March 2009, with the retirement of Richard Brown BVet Med MRCVS. Whilst Philip spends the majority of his time on farm, he enjoys the back up of all the other veterinary surgeons, who all like to remain practiced in farm work as and when they can.
